Whats the easiest way of applying eye liner?

finding it really hard to apply eye liner must be doing something wrong?Whats the easiest way of applying eye liner?
I'm sure no one else will give you this one - I personally can only use (correctly) a cake eyeliner. Clinque has one. Works with a bit of water and to me it is easier to control than the liquid or the pencil. Then I just smudge it a bit with a q-tip. The cake is harder to find but lasts forever and I can use it. The liquid is just too much like a magic marker.

I disagree with the above. Putting it on the ridge of your eye looks too hard. Like a hooker. Put it just under the lower lashes and then smudge it a bit with the q=tip. It also can cause eye infections putting it on the ridge. Mac makeup counters can show you how to use pencils and brush but don't have the cake liner.Whats the easiest way of applying eye liner?
You have to have your mouth open to do this.
Pull down your lower eye slightly, and apply on the pink ring of you eye in a back and forth motion . Do NOT just apply under eye. Looks terrible. You shouldn't apply it on the top lid either, just use mascara and it looks like you did.
with a 2'; gloss brush
Either don't put it on the ridge of your eye... and if you do then it just takes time to get used to putting it on it is like wearing contacts of having braces.
Liquid eye liner is harder to use. When applying liner try to line as close to the lash as possible and only apply from the middle of the top to the outer edge and about 1/3 of the outter bottom. Lining the whole eye makes your eyes look smaller. Hope this helps!
use a 1/2'; paint brush
get a thin one and practise, dats wat i had 2 do make sure u pull ure bottom eyelid down a bit wile ure doing it aswell
Make sure you have a nice sharp pencil, rest your hand against your cheek so that it's nice and steady and do one continuous sweep from inside to outside.
Well! make sure your eyeliner is sharpened but not too sharp and then wet the tip of the pencil or buy those liquid eye liners.
I use Revlon colorstay and to apply it I just go in front of a mirror and pull your eye down and you'll see your waterline and the waterline is like skin but it's watery and usually a whitish color. And to put eyeliner on your top waterline, I find the easiest way is to dilled your head back and gently pull your eye lid up and apply your eyeliner on the waterline.

Good luck!
make sure it is sharpened first off then use your index finger to gently pull down your eyelid and line the wet part of your eye with the liner. if you want it to be darker and last longer apply it to the skin right under the wet part.

hope thishelps!
Umm. i would say dont pu any on cuz then you dont have to deal with it! lol
put khol eyeliner on the bottom of your eye while pulling your bottom lashes down to your cheekbone
How can you do something wrong hun? Go up to the mirror, pull eyelid down, run pencil along, smudge at edge, upward, bingo. Job done.

Just put it on the bottom and top of your eyelid. Dont press too hard or it'll smear or look bad.
jus practise lots you'll get the hang of it!! when i first started wearing eyeliner i was hopeless at it, now i dont even need a mirror x i couldnt live without it %26lt;3 x
Use liquid eyeliner.

I use the ones that have very fine brushes and put it on in layers till I get the line I want.

Start about 1/3 away from your tear duct and outwards. First line very fine and build on it till you have the shape you want.

Don't try to do eyeliner in one motion.
pull your cheek down so then

the bottom of your eye goes with it.

then carfuly apply the eyeliner w/e your eyelash and eye.

it should work.

just BE CARFUL.

you dont want it poking you in the eye.

trust me it hurts a lot.
Liquid eyeliner can be particularly tricky. Close your eye and pull your eyelid slightly to the side then apply a thin line that slightly flicks out at the corner.

Practice makes perfect, keep trying the results in the end will be worth it.
