I am a beginner make-up user. I want to put on my eye liner but i need instructions.....i really don't know anything about how to.
please give step-by-step instructions. I really don't get it. i have tried and my eye liner doesn't show up. What should i do about that?? thanx!!EYE LINER!! insturctions to apply!?
you are being too cautious....I mean don't be overly confident at first, be carfeul or you'll end up looking like a clown.
Top: half way out...don't start all the way in toward the tear duct, go out about halfway and come all the way out to the end of your eyelashes to the corner of your eye.
Bottom: pull you bottom eyelid down and put the liner on the inner part right above your eyelashes(not IN your eye but the edge of your bottom eyelid) half way out toward the corner of your eye...once again...not from the tearduct. Come all the way out to the end of your other line.
PS. be sure to connect the two lines or it'll look funny. :]
Good luckEYE LINER!! insturctions to apply!?
ok if you are using a pencil eye liner then i suggest using a mechanical eye liner. Its kind of like a mechanical pencil except it justt scrolls out. i never used pencil eye liner because i personally never had the patience for it to get worn in enough to show up good. With the mechanical kind it will show up after you try it like once.
On the bottom rims of your eyes just act like your drawing a line on your skin. IT DOESNT HURT!!!!!! ok it may look like it hurts but it doesnt. it may tickle a little but thats about it. I personally use it on both my top and bottom rims. to do the top pull your lids up a little (not so much you are bending it in half like the weird people) and then do the same on the bottom. IT WILL TICKLE really bad and give you dry eyes a few times but its really not that hard. aand trust me i know how to use eyeliner... im like addicted lol
Liquid eyeliner:
(beginner level)
1. take your brush and load a fair amount of liner.
2. take a face mirror and tilt it towards you so you need to look half down less. (when you look half down, your eyes naturally close halfway and you actually get to see your lash line)
3. SLOWLY draw a FINE thin line along the upper lash line.(you can do it in small strokes if your starting out)
4. practice practice practice
tip: as your skill gets better, you may want to try out different thickness at different parts of the line for a really dramatic effect. DON'T line your water line (the pink part of your eye) with liquid liner
Pencil eyeliner:
(the simplest and easiest)
I dont really know how to explain this.. but im gonna try cos its suppose to be REALLY simple. i dont know what your problem is..
1. take your pencil and tug GENTLY (not too hard cos in the long run your skin might sag there) and line JUST below the waterline.
2. for the Upper lash line, sharpen the pencil. Look halfdown(like in the liquid liner) and draw as close as possible to your lash line. you might want a thicker or thinner line. I like to pull it out over my eyes abit for a lil cat's eye effect (you dont NEED liner for this look altho cat's eye looks better with liquid)
Subtle Effects:
Line just from the middle to the outer corners
dramatic night/ smokey look:
Line the whole top and bottom lid and smudge. (you might need to put more)
emo/goth:
A whole lot of eyeliner, but be careful to prepare your skin properly and use a very good eyeliner or you'll get racoon eyes!
Body shop and stila eyeliners are the best!
ok well u need a good eyeliner...i use marykate and ashley eyleiner...black...its cheap and very good.....so put it on the bottom and like on the inside line of your eye...oput it inside and a lil bit on the outside...that way if it wears off on the inside u can still see it....i hope this helps if it doesnt email me kk?
