typically, most people use liquid or cream/gel liner on the top because pencil is just more of a pain. urban decay and mac have good liquid liners and coastal scents has good gel liners that are pretty cheap.

Some people pull on like the outer corner of their eye, and they can apply it like that (sorry if it doesn't make sense). For my right eye, personally I just put it on with my eye open and that's easy I just go nice, steady, and slow, and try to get it as close to my eyelashes as possible. For my left eye, I pull on the corner and try to get it near the lashes (but I tend to mess up more doing this). When you mess up use a q-tip, wetten it a little, and then rub away on the extra liner.

good old black is always in trend, but if you want a less dramatic look, go with aa soft brown, it will give you a fresh look, and will open ur eyes a bit more. try maybelline define a line eyeliner in either ebony black or brown. with both of them , dont just leave a line, play around with it and smugde it. be playfull

You definitely wanna go with purple eyeliner. It makes your eyes stand out. Put your finger on the end of your eye and pull it so when you close your eyes its completely straight. then gently put a thin layer of eyeliner on top. Hope i helped and good luck
you have brown eyes so you should use black liquid wet n' wild liner. it applies easy. just softly close the eye your applying it on. dont squint or it will smear all over. soflyt put it on in a straight line at your lash line.
if you want a subtle line so it makes your eyes pop, you should apply it to your top lid under the lashes, like the water line on the top.
