Applying eye liner to top lid?

is there any websites or can someone give me advice on how to apply it without making my eyes look even more round, i can never get that cat eyes look it always ends up in the big panda round eyes look instead.Applying eye liner to top lid?

use liquid eye liner u can shape ur eyes the shape they really are.
simple dont put it on the top lid or do but use an eyeshadow brush and smudge it round to the ends of your eyelids then apply eyeshadow over the top it looks amazing

Hi Rosie dont start in the inner corner of the eye start in the middle when you get to the outer corner move the brush upwards so that their is a tiny space between the line and your lashes.Then finish just past where your eye ends with an upward flick
take liquid eyeliner. rest two of your fingers (not holding the eyeliner) agains your cheek to get the line straight. follow the natural line of growth of your eye lashes and when you reach the end (outer corner of the eye) make a little move upwards (as if you were drawing a tick). it will look great.

Hi I have the same problem as you, I think it will never work for us, I think its because my eyes are too round to start off with so, this is why they look rounder, for me anyways. I dont know about you. I think that we dont need eye liner because if we just apply to our bottom lashes then apply a good curlying mascara then we dont need eyeliner on the top lashes. Id pay more attention to the lips and cheeks in stead.
Use a pen or liquid eyeliner. Or sharpen the pencil really thin.
Just try to follow the natural curve of your eyelid. If you have to tug on your eye Tug upwards instead of to the side. If you tug sideways, your line will come out way above your natural lash line.

You could just try not applying eye liner to the bottom. Some guys think its slutty anyway. My friend does this weird point thing, it goes up and out, It works for her, but she looks kind of goth sometimes, if she doesn't do it just right. But just make sure that you don't give any kinda arch shape to the top, when applying. Good luck, girl!!!

My tip is to start in the middle of your top lid and work outwards and upwards just past your eye.


use a soft kohl rather than a hard liner that you can smudge a little with your finger for a more smoky effect.
first of all dont use liquid eyeliner, a soft eyepencil is better and easier to use for this. you need to line the very inner upper corner of your eyes and then the outer upper corners. dont draw liner across the whole of your top lid if you dont want that 'round' look. if you dont get the liner perfect just smudge the outer corners slightly bringing it up and into the crease of your eyes. also when your drawing liner underneath your eyes start from the middle to the outer corners. sometimes it looks nice if you draw the liner slightly inside the eye as this can give more of a cat eye look. hope this helpes! if you still cant get the hang of it pop down your local boots or debenhams makeup department and ask one of the consultants there to show you :D
Eyeliner is not suitable for everyone. Try putting a line of shiny white extending beyond the outer corner of the eye and then apply your eyeshadow, loads of black mascara and kohl and your eyes will look huge.
