Is there any tricks for applying eye liner?

To help I mean.Is there any tricks for applying eye liner?
Here are some tricks to put on eyeliner:

*If you wear only eye makeup and wonder why at the end of the day your makeup is smudged and coming off, here's why. You need to give a base coat of foundation and powder for the eye makeup to adhere to. Even if you don't want to wear foundation, just apply it to your eyes.

*Pencil eye liners tend to smudge and wear off easier

*Extend the eye liner slightly past the corners of your eye for that cat look that's in.

((I've heard that if you apply white eye liner to the inside bottom lid it makes your eyes look brighter. Be wary of this and don't overload the inside lid. The trick is to make it look as though you don't have any on.))

*If you're all out of eyeliner, take your thinnest application brush, (everyone should have a set of make-up brushes if you wear make-up!) Next, dampen slightly and gently rub across the shadow compact and apply carefully!

*If you have dark circles under the eyes, avoid using dark eyeliner.

((Eyeliner should be a must have staple in every girls makeup kit. Eyeliner allows you to shape, define and emphasize your eyes. Using different shades of eyeliner also allows you to change the look of your eye color. Blue eyes look bluer with brown shades of pencil. While green eyes pop with dark shades of plum. Using different tones on Brown eyes will pick up golden flecks or brighten a deep dark brown eye.))

*Choosing an eyeliner color to make your eye color stand out:

When using liquid eye liner, (this is my specialty :), The first thing you should do is make sure the brush is extremely thin! If it isn't, your line will be too thick and hard to manage while putting on. It's best to buy cosmetics from stores that will take them back. Or ask on cosmetic message boards what others like. I have found, after trying virtually every brand on the market, that wetn'wild has the best thin tipped brush out there! And the color doesn't peel off like some other liquid eyeliners.

*Wipe the excess off when you pull the brush out of the tube. I find that if you wipe access on a clean piece of plastic, when you need to re-load the bush, use the extra that was left on the plastic. It not only saves on the eye liner but you can control how much is on your brush. Plus you can avoid tainting the liner in the tube with germs.

*Always apply liquid eye liner after eyeshadow application and allow to dry before applying mascara

*Use Liquid eye liner on top and pencil for the bottom.

Liquid Eyelining Tips:

*Liquid eyeliner creates a dramatic, strong line that really emphasizes the shape of your eye. With the right liquid liner, the lasting power is doubled that of a pencil liner. Liquid liner should only be applied up top, above the lashes.

When applying eyeliner, apply as close to the lashes as possible

*If your eyes droop down, line them up towards the outer corner of your eye

*If pencil is freshly sharpened, soften tip by gently rolling it across the back of your hand.Is there any tricks for applying eye liner?
For liquid eyeliner for my top lid I hold the brush with my thumb and index finger.I press the side of my thumb against my cheekbone, starting from the inside of eye(towards nose)I brush with one long stroke resting a bit on top of eyelashes, and depending on the style I curve the line slightly up at the end.Takes lots of practice, use non-waterproof to start with so its easy to take off and re-apply till ya get it right.Hope that helps.Tip:It looks best very thin outlining just above eyelash line,if it waterproof you can look like a natural beauty even at the beach or pool.I get a ton of compliments from the girls that finally notice I have it on.
umm...well depends how you want it. I usually just apply it right on the bottom of my eye..like on the inside of the bottom part of my eye. that's it. maybe some on the upper part of your eyelid but I don't like to use a lot..just a bit to bring out your eyes and then some eye shadow.

; )
pull down your eye, to the inner rim . and just use a pencil and make it thick because it comes off a little but . its really easy and i started doing it like that at age twelvee and it worked out just finee(:
I use DuWop and I apply it very thinly and close to the eye. I don't apply it thick cuz i don't wanna look like a raccoon. lol
top, bottom or both??
